Tom Reiner, from The Care of Trees, will be leading the walk. He will be discussing the trees of the park, why their leaves change color and how they prepare for winter.

Meet Mr. Reiner on Ballard Green, Main Street, Ridgefield, at 1 p.m., Oct. 12. The tour is free for members of The Care of Trees and $7 for non-members.

Bring comfortable walking shoes and your curiosity.
