RIDGEIELD, Conn. Teens are encouraged to decorate the windows of Ridgefield's Main Street shops as a part of the annual "Halloween Window Painting."
For four hours from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct. 13, middle and high school students will take over the street to show off their artistic abilities in designing creative artwork. The event is co-sponsored by the Ridgefield Parks and Recreation Department and the Ridgefield Chamber of Commerce. The water-based tempera paint will be supplied to those who have registered.
The deadline to register is Oct. 11. To register, email Parks and Recreation or download forms here.
If the weather doesn't cooperate, the event will be postponed until Oct. 14 from noon to 4 p.m.
