Tuesday, Sept. 18
Ridgefield Rotary Sunrise and Quality Living: 7 a.m. The Ridgefield Rotary Sunrise has invited the Ridgefield Visiting Nurses Association to speak at its meeting. Wednesday, Sept. 19
Holistic Healing Presentation: 10:30 a.m. to noon. The Laurel Ridge Recreation Department hosts a Holistic Health Presentation with presenters Colleen Olphie-Lippmann and Dr. Hannah Eucker, both of whom are Ridgefield practitioners. Laurel Ridge Health Care Center, 642 Danbury Road, Ridgefield.
Public Hearing on Deer Hunt: 7 p.m. A public hearing will be held to receive comments on the following proposed locations for the 2012-13 controlled deer hunt: Levy Park, Shadow Lake, Laurel Lane, Linden Road, Scodon Drive/Pheasant Lane, Between Old Trolley and Shadow Lake, Ridgefield Municipal Golf Course, Reed Park, Spectacle Swamp, Schlumberger property and Keeler Court. Thursday, Sept. 20
Community Carnival: 6 to 10 p.m. Its the Ridgefield Chamber of Commerces first annual Community Carnival. It will continue this weekend with rides, games and many other activities. Ridgefield Parks and Recreation, 195 Danbury Road, Ridgefield.
Tommy Emmanuel: 8 to 11 p.m. Two-time Grammy nominee Tommy Emmanuel is one of Australia's most respected musicians. He will perform with his unique finger-style guitar playing. Ridgefield Playhouse, 80 E. Ridge Road, Ridgefield.
