Rocker Roger Hodgson To Perform In Ridgefield

RIDGEFIELD, Conn. – Former Supertramp frontman Roger Hodgson is bringing his “Breakfast in America” tour to the Ridgefield Playhouse for a mini-gala on January 12, 2013.

The show, postponed from its original November date due to Hurricane Sandy, includes such Hodgson hits as “It’s Raining Again,” “Fools Overture,” “Give a Little Bit,” “Dreamer,“ “Take the Long Way Home” and “The Logical Song.”

Hodgson recently received two awards from the American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers in recognition of having his songs among the top played selections in the group's repertory.

The event, part of the Playhouse’s Mini Gala Series, will feature dinner-by-the-bite, open bar and a silent auction in the lobby from 6:30 to 7:15 as well as Hodgson’s performance for all ticket holders. The event benefits the Playhouse’s not-for-profit arm.

There are several levels of tickets: the Roger Hodgson $150 Gold Circle includes a meet-and-greet dinner, open bar and silent auction; $135 ticket includes orchestra seating, dinner, open bar and silent auction; and the $125 ticket includes mezzanine seating, dinner, open bar and silent auction.
