Rock-n-Roller Todd Rundgren Comes To Ridgefield

RIDGEFIELD, Conn. – Rock 'n' roll royalty Todd Rundgren is returning to the Ridgefield Playhouse with his Classic Todd Hits show Oct. 9.

Rundgren will be joined on stage by fellow rock 'n' rollers guitarist Jesse Gress, bassist Kasim Sulton, drummer Prairie Prince and keyboardist John Ferenzik to perform some of Rundgren’s most classic songs. The group will play songs like "I Saw The Light," "Hello, It's Me," "Bang The Drum All Day" and “It Wouldn't Have Made Any Difference.”

During the course of his career, Rundgren has been a songwriter, video pioneer, producer, recording artist, computer software developer, conceptualist and interactive artist

Since gaining fame in the 1970s, Rundgren has created a body of work that has gained him a legion of followers as he often released two albums a year during the '70s and early '80s as either as a solo artist or with his band Utopia. He also produced records for a variety of artists, including Meatloaf, Badfinger, Grand Funk Railroad and XTC.
