Ridgefield Rec Center Showcases Wildlife On Saturday

RIDGEFIELD, Conn. -- Animals from all over the world will be at the Ridgefield Recreation Center on Saturday as part of its Animal Embassy program.

The free event, held at 197 Danbury Road from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m., will feature Inca, a spectacled owl whose origins are found in Peru and Sydney, an Australian eclectus parrot.

Visitors will get to see a colorful Sinaloan milk snake, an African tortoise, a red-foot tortoise from South America, a Central American red-eyed tree frog or an African bullfrog.
