Ridgefield Playhouse To Present 'Falstaff' In HD

RIDGEFIELD, Conn. -- The Ridgefield Playhouse is inviting residents to take a break from shopping and see an opera on Sunday, Dec. 15, as Verdi's "Falstaff" is broadcast live in HD from the Met.

The performance begins at 5 p.m. Verdi’s "Falstaff" will star Ambrogio Maestri with Music Director James Levine.

The Met Live in HD Series is underwritten by supporters Jeanne Cook, Anita and Nicholas Donofrio, Liz and Steven Goldstone, Marilyn and Joe Kreitz, Joanne and John Patrick, Starbucks Coffee, Sabina and Walter Slavin, Taylor Zemo Foundation, The Ridgefield Press and Whistle Stop Bakery.

Tickets are $25 for adults, $20 for seniors/members, $15 for students and $18 each for all 10 in the series. Residents can call the box office at 203-438-5795 or visit the Ridgefield Playhouse website
