The two-day event will feature performances from artists such rock band OAR, Broadway actress Andrea Frierson, guitarist Johnny Winter and many others. Here is the lineup:
• Saturday, Jan. 19: 6:30 p.m.: Edie Brickell, Bernie Williams, Kicking Daisies, saxophone player Bill Evans, Andrea Frierson, Karmine Alers, Carly and Eliza, Juicy Grapes, Destination Unknown and the Ridgefield Chorale.
• Sunday, Jan. 20: 5:30 p.m.: Johnny Winter and his band, Live's Ed Kowalczyk, April Kry & Steve Gaspar, Gary Portnoy, Steve Clarke Trio, Whiskey Preacher, Bobby Paltauf, Chris Berardo & The DesBerardos, Wagon Wheel Band, Kathy Thompson Band and the Stamford High School Madrigals.
“Please join us, six weeks after the horrific tragedy in Newtown, as we start the healing process through the power of music and celebrate the lives of those whom we lost too soon,” said Allison Stockel, executive director of The Ridgefield Playhouse.
All the proceeds will go toward building a memorial park to honor the memory of the victims as well as help for the survivors and first responders.
