Ridgefield Playhouse Presents Dweezil Zappa Guitar Class

RIDGEFIELD, Conn. -- The Ridgefield Playhouse's presentation of "Zappa Plays Zappa" on Sunday is sold out but Zappa's son Dweezil is hosting a new guitar class the same day.

Dweezil is set to lead a Guitar Master Class at 3 p.m., Sunday at the playhouse, according to a press release. Dweezil will "preview some of the guitar concepts he teaches at Dweezilla music camp," according to the release.

Students enrolled are asked to arrive with guitars at 2:30 p.m., according to the release.

"For the price of a fuzz pedal, guitar players will learn techniques from the son of Frank Zappa in a 90-minute personalized guitar instruction session," representatives said in the release.

To enroll for the $75 class, residents are asked to call or visit the box office at the playhouse at 203-438-5795, or order online at the playhouse website.
