Ridgefield Playhouse Hosts Relay For Life Fashion Show

RIDGEFIELD, Conn. – For 10 years Ridgefield has been raising money for Relay For Life. This year, the Ridgefield Playhouse is joining the fight against cancer with the Spring into Fashion show May 22.

Local models will take to the catwalk, showing off clothing and accessories from Lyn Evans Potpourri Designs on Main Street. Among the models will be Broadway actress Debbie Gravitte; Peggy Marconi, wife of Ridgefield’s first selectman; and chairwoman of Relay for Life 2013, Emily Shiller.

Before the show, there will be wine and cheese tastings, hors d’oevures from local restaurants and cupcakes from the Cake Box. There will also be items for sale by Lyn Evans, and the Adam Broderick Salon & Spa will be offering free makeup applications.

Relay For Life, a 24-hour walkathon to benefit the American Cancer Society, will be held June 14 in Ridgefield.
