Martin Luther King Jr. will be profiled in "I Have a Dream," an Arts in Education program in honor of Black History Month on Thursday, Feb. 26, at 10 a.m. and 12:15 p.m.; The program is ideal for students in grades 3 to 8.
The impact of King is chronicled the program, which is a compelling dramatization of the life and times of one of the most influential leaders of the 20th century.
King’s dream was to lift “our nation from the quicksand of racial injustice to the solid rock of brotherhood.”
For March, the Golden Dragon Acrobats will return to The Ridgefield Playhouse on Tuesday, March 3, at 11 a.m. and on Wednesday, March 4, at 10 a.m. and 12:15 p.m.
The Golden Dragons are recognized throughout the United States and abroad as one of the premiere Chinese acrobatic companies touring today. The program is suitable for all ages.
