Attendees can enjoy free skating, music and more. The park is located at 60 Prospect St. with a rain date for Aug. 9.
Built in 1998 as a result of a grassroots effort to provide a safe and fun place for local skaters to congregate, the park was named in memory of Graham Dickinson, a local teen who died a couple of weeks after its opening. The skate park offers annual memberships, season passes, drop-in rates, and lessons for people of all ages and skill levels.
The park is open daily from noon to 6 p.m. until Aug. 24. Starting on Aug. 25, it’s open Monday through Friday from 3 until 6 p.m., and from noon until 6 p.m. on weekends and school holidays. The park will remain open until Nov. 29.
