Known for his hits “Lights Out” and “Come as You Are,” Peter Wolf will make his only Connecticut stop at The Ridgefield Playhouse with his new band The Midnight Travelers at 8 p.m. Thursday, according to a press release.
"His tenure career with the J. Geils Band ranged from the late ‘60s to the early ‘80s, but his solo success shows his true songwriting ability and enduring star power," representatives said in the release. "In 2010 his latest album, Midnight Souvenirs, earned the award for Album of the Year at the Boston Music Awards."
Luc’s Restaurant in Ridgefield is offering a free glass of red or white house wine with dinner the night of the show when tickets are presented, according to the release. This event is underwritten by Acousticmusic.org and is part of the XFinity Rock Series with media sponsor 95.9fm The Fox, according to the release.
For tickets, which are $47.50, residents are asked to call or visit the box office at The Ridgefield Playhouse, (203) 438-5795.
