Musical Groups Can Enter BandJam Contest At Ridgefield Playhouse

RIDGEFIELD, Conn. -- There's still time for high school and middle school bands to sign up for the Ridgefield BandJam that will be held at the Ridgefield Playhouse.

Bands have until Saturday, Feb. 22, to sign up. Log on to ridgefieldbandjam.com to learn how to register your band.

Tryouts will be held for the 16 selected semifinalists. Middle school tryouts will be held Monday, March 10, at 7 p.m. High School tryouts will be Tuesday, March 11, at 7 p.m.

Finalists for both categories will compete at the Playhouse in a concert on Sunday, April 27.

Judges for this year's contest include i95fm's Ethan Carey.

Tickets for the event are $20 or $15 for students. Call the box office at 203-438- 5795, or go online to ridgefieldplayhouse.org.
