Karla Bonoff, Steve Forbert To Play In Ridgefield

RIDGEFIELD, Conn. – Critically acclaimed singer-songwriters Karla Bonoff and Steve Forbert will perform together at the Ridgefield Playhouse on Nov. 17.

Bonoff is often described as one of the finest singer-songwriters of her generation. With a career spanning four decades, Bonoff has enjoyed critical acclaim, commercial success, enduring popularity and the unwavering respect of her peers.

Forbert sang “Meet me in the middle of the night, let me hear you say everything’s alright,” on his defining 1980 hit song “Romeo’s Tune”. The pairing of Forbert’s poetic lyrics with his roots-rocking beat struck a chord with millions of people in the transitional period between ‘70s folk-rock and ‘80s new wave.

Guitarist Nina Gerber will be joining Bonoff and Forbert on stage during their show in Ridgefield.
