RIDGEFIELD, Conn. Chart-topping country singer Jo Dee Messina will be taking the Ridgefield Playhouse stage Oct. 6.
The country singer has earned nine No. 1 singles on the Billboard Country Music charts and two Grammy nominations. Messina also has received the Academy of Country Music's Top New Female Vocalist award, the Country Music Association Horizon award and in 1999 was named Most Played Country Female by Billboard.
Her songs, like "Lesson in Leavin,'" "Because You Love Me," "Downtime," "Bring On The Rain," "That's The Way" and "My Give A Damn's Busted" have given her a reputation as one of country's most loved and enduring hit-makers.
