RIDGEFIELD, Conn. Comedian and Broadway star Robert Klein is bringing his show to the Ridgefield Playhouse Oct. 27.
Klein got his comedic start after graduating college at the famed Second City comedy troupe in Chicago. In 1993, he won an Obie and the Outer Critics Circle Award for Outstanding Performance by an Actor in Wendy Wassersteins The Sisters Rosensweig.
He also was awarded a Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle Award for his performance in the Neil Simon musical Theyre Playing Our Song. Most recently, Klein was on HBO in nine one-man shows including his 2010 show Robert Klein: Unfair and Unbalanced.
