The double bill features Soul Brass Band and Funky Dawgz! The former got its start with an appearance in Cee Lo Green’s "Music to My Soul" video and they haven’t looked back since. Drummer, singer, rapper and producer Derrick Freeman is a founding member the band. Their mix of jazz, hip-hop, funk and R&B -- blended with Derrick’s truth-telling and consciousness-raising, comic relief and fine storytelling -- will make this a memorable night of music.

Featured on Live For Live Music’s Brass Bands You Need To Know, Fairfield County’s own Funky Dawgz "have exploded onto the live music scene playing a mix of traditional New Orleans R&B, original music and today’s top hits with a brass twist," according to a news release.

This Evening of Art, Wine & Jazz starts with a complimentary wine tasting and art reception in the lobby at 7:15 p.m. The show begins at 7:30 p.m.

Before the show, head over to Piccolo’s Pizza and Jazzeria for dinner and enjoy a free glass of house wine with your entrée when you present your tickets.
