Wild Ginger Restaurant Closes Its Doors In Ridgefield

RIDGEFIELD, Conn. — After two decades in business in the center of Ridgefield, Wild Ginger has closed.

The restaurant, located at 461 Main St. in a strip mall near Steve's Bagels, was known for its Asian food.

"Using culinary influence from South East Asia, Wild Ginger serves a variety of authentic Asian dishes. A combination of delicious cuisine from experienced chefs, along with excellent service and an ambiance of relaxation - Wild Ginger will quickly become your go-to & take-out restaurant," its website said.

The restaurant posted an orange note on its front door, announcing that its lease was up.

“Lease end closing. Really appreciate your support for two decades. We will always remember this peaceful town and all the lovely, beautiful people. May God bless you all.”
