Ridgefield's Gilded Nest Is Moving Its Business Online

RIDGEFIELD, Conn. -- The Gilded Nest is transitioning from a brick-and-mortar locale to a solely online operation -- and the sale is on.

According to the shop's Facebook page, things are moving fast -- almost all of the furniture pieces are sold -- meaning this week could be the last before the store closes its doors for good.

There is, however, still jewelry, home decor, and more -- all at 50 percent off.

The shop will still provide the same services -- which includes a unique mix of new and vintage home furnishings, mirrors, chandeliers, as well as unusual gifts and accessories -- but will now do remotely. The Gildest Nest also offers interior decorating and staging services as well as custom upholstery and window treatments.
