New French Café In Ridgefield Serves Up Crêpes, Quiche

RIDGEFIELD, Conn. – A new French restaurant that specializes in crepes, quiche and other delicacies, has opened its doors in Ridgefield, The Ridgefield Press reports.

Sucré Salé and Quiche Me offers a variety of dishes, including crêpes, mussels and fries.

Owner and head chef Frank Bonnaudet has experimented with ingredients and flavors to devise the restaurant's menu, according to the Press. Sucré Salé offers a breakfast dish called the Crochan, a croissant with quiche filling.

The Quiche Me portion of the menu offers only takeout and catering services.

Bonnaudet comes from Brittany on France's west coast, where he began training to become a chef at the age of 15, according to the Ridgefield Press.

Sucré Salé and Quiche Me is at 109 Danbury Road in Ridgefield, across from Ross' Bread.

It is open from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays and from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sundays. Breakfast service stops at 11 a.m. The restaurant will extend its hours in the middle of December to start offering a dinner menu that will be served until 10 p.m. every day except Monday.
