Nod Hill Brewery will be canning a limited run of two beers that have been the most popular since the 10-barrel brewery opened in October.
First up are Geobunny, a 6.5% ABV India Pale Ale brewed with Citra and Eureka hops, and Super Mantis, an 8.7% ABV double IPA with Citra and Galaxy hops.
Both will be offered in 16-ounce cans.
If the custom labels look familiar it’s because they were created by artist Brian Steely, who has done work for musical acts Phish, My Morning Jacket and the Punch Brothers.
“We’re excited to offer our beer in a new format that people will really enjoy, especially during this festive time of year,” said Nod Hill owner David Kaye. “We’re planning on doing these special can releases on a semi-regular basis going forward.”
Nod Hill has seven beers available on a regular basis, including porter and Trappist-inspired single and double ales.
With an old-school building design combined with the cozy pub-like atmosphere of the taproom, the brewery is a welcoming space for friends and family alike.
“Our guiding principles have been to make the kind of beer we love to drink and hold our brewing process to the highest standards,” Kaye said shortly before the October opening.
"We are excited to bring something fresh, unique and fun to our community.”
Located at 137 Ethan Allen Highway, Nod Hill is open Thursdays from 4 to 8 p.m.; Fridays from noon to 8 p.m.; Saturdays noon to 9 p.m.; and Sundays noon to 9 p.m.
