Longtime Greenwich Police Detective Promoted To Sergeant A longtime Greenwich Police detective has been promoted to the rank of sergeant. On Thursday, Nov. 5, 2020, Chief James Heavey announced Det. Daniel Bucci has been appointed as sergeant. Bucci is a graduate of the University of Central Florida. He graduated in 2007 with a bachelor’s degree in psychology, said Greenwich Police Capt. Mark E. Zuccerella. He was hired as a Greenwich Police Officer in April, 2011 and promoted to the rank of detective in September of 2017.
