Car Crashes Into Front Of Popular Greenwich Cafe Fans of a popular Fairfield cafe are coming to its rescue after a car crashed through the front of the restaurant. The incident occurred in Greenwich at the Makerie Cafe on Monday, Sept. 2, on Valley Road. According to Greenwich Police, the crash occurred when a driver in the parking lot pressed the gas pedal instead of the brake and plowed through the storefront. Man Charged In Greenwich With DUI For Sleeping Behind Wheel, Driving On Sidewalk, Police Say A Fairfield County was charged with allegedly driving under the influence after he was reportedly sleeping in his car in the roadway and then driving on two wheels on a sidewalk. Adian Ricardo Pryce, age 37, of Stratford, was charged on Friday, March 1 after Greenwich Police responded to reports of a driver asleep in his vehicle in the roadway. Capt. Report Of Sleeping Driver In BMW Leads To DUI Charge For Greenwich Man A Greenwich man is facing DUI charges after police say he was sleeping in his vehicle. Greenwich Police say they responded to the junction of Valley Road and Cos Cob Avenue after receiving a report of an individual sleeping or passed out behind the wheel of a black BMW with the engine still running on Sunday, June 16 around 6:30 a.m. Further investigation revealed that the vehicle’s occupant, identified as Ace Aguilar, 21, of Greenwich, had red, glassy eyes, according to police.
