Stranded, Seething: 2.5K Southwest Flight Cancellations Leave Passengers In Post-Christmas Mess More than 2,500 Southwest Airlines flights were canceled and 8,3072 delayed as of Wednesday, Dec. 28, leaving even more passengers across the US stranded and seething. Rear Admiral Joanna M. Nunan, who is originally from Bridgeport, has been selected for the position at the academy located on Long Island, in Kings Point.
