More than 3.3 million EVs are now registered across the ten states, the Northeast States for Coordinated Air Use Management said in a news release on Monday, Mar. 10. The group includes Connecticut, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, and New York. In an unexpected move, the MTA has voted to delay a proposed toll and fare hike vote that was scheduled to take place on Thursday, Jan. 24 during its regular board meeting. Instead, it will now seek additional revenue streams before increasing prices for commuters.
