Firefighter Falls Through Burning Home In Fairfield County
A Fairfield County firefighter was injured after falling through a floor while battling a structure fire. The incident took place in Bridgeport around 10:10 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 2 in the 700 block of Park Street. Firefighters responded to the structure fire after receiving multiple 911 regarding a fire, said Scott Appleby, director of Emergency Management For Bridgeport. Nine Displaced After Fire Breaks Out At Multi-Family CT Home
Three families were left homeless following a fire at a multi-family Connecticut home. The fire took place around 8:30 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 20, at 207 Jefferson Street in Hartford at a multi-family home located in the city’s Frog Hollow neighborhood. Firefighters responded to a report of smoke in the building and encountered heavy smoke upon arrival, said the City of Hartford Fire Department. Nine Displaced After House Fire Breaks Out In Fairfield County
A Fairfield County house fire has left six adults and three children displaced. The fire broke out around 9:15 a.m., Monday, Dec. 28, at the home located in the 1,000-block of North Avenue in Bridgeport. The first responding units reported fire visible on the second floor of the home. All occupants were out on arrival, Bridgeport Director of Emergency Management Scott Appleby said.
