Duo Beats, Robs 75-Year-Old In His Bridgeport Backyard, Police Say Two men are accused of beating and robbing a 75-year-old man outside his Fairfield County home. The incident happened Thursday, Nov. 16, in Bridgeport at a home on East Main Street, according to Bridgeport Police. Both men approached the victim with their hands in their pockets, motioning that they had a gun, police said. They allegedly punched the victim and pushed him against a dumpster before stealing his wallet. The victim suffered a minor head injury in the ordeal. A video surveillance released Wednesday, shows the man, who was interrupted by the resident around 11:15 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 26, on Aberdeen Street, police said. The man is described as being about 5-foot-8, “with a dark complexion and very short hair with a medium build,” police said.  He was wearing a dark blue sweatshirt and what looks like gray sweatpants.
