A Fairfield County man has been arrested on numerous alleged drug offenses after residents complained to police about his drug dealing. Jose Adames, age 45, of Danbury, was arrested on Tuesday, Dec. 21, following the execution of search warrants for his body and residence. According to Det. Lt. Two employees at a New England McDonald’s are facing charges after a furious mother found prescription medication inside her child’s Happy Meal box. The mother of an 11-year-old boy found Suboxone in her son’s Happy Meal box after picking it up from the drive-through at McDonald’s on Center Street in Auburn, Maine, on Wednesday, June 30, according to police. A 56-year-old Fairfield County man was arrested after police conducted an undercover sting and learned that he was selling prescription medications and narcotics paid for by Medicaid. Anthony Spetrino, of Norwalk, reportedly sold Oxycodone, Clonazepam and Suboxone to Special Services Division members of the Norwalk Police Department during the month of May 2020. A two-vehicle crash in Darien led to charges for a 28-year-old man, according to police. Darien Police say Lakeem Jetter, 28, of Bridgeport turned himself in on Sunday, Nov. 3. Police responded to a two-car accident near the area of Post Road and Hampton Road on Friday, Sept. 20 around 5:30 p.m. Upon arrival, officers allegedly observed a tan Buick sedan that had sustained severe front and side damage and a Honda Civic with heavy front end damage. Darien Man Charged In Near Fatal Norwalk Overdose
A Fairfield County man is in custody after allegedly supplying an addict with heroin when he sought Suboxone to wean off opioids in Norwalk, police said. Darien resident Clayton Gandini, 47, turned himself into police custody this week following an investigation that tied him to a nearly fatal overdose in Norwalk last month. Connecticut State Police troopers recovered a stolen handgun and busted a man in possession of crack cocaine and other drugs during a speeding stop on I-84. Troopers conducting an enforcement detail on I-84 near exit 66 in Vernon stopped a vehicle when it was clocked going 84 mph on the interstate. Father Faces Charges After 1-Year-Old Eats Drugs In Norwalk
A 29-year-old man with a criminal record was arrested after a 1-year-old child ingested drugs at his Woodbury Avenue home, according to The Hour. The incident took place Jan. 16 when the child was taken to Yale-New Haven Hospital for an unknown medical problem. Tests showed that the child had the drug suboxone in its system, the newspaper said.
