Police in Bethel are seeking the public’s assistance as they attempt to track down a suspect who allegedly stole money from a donation box at a local gas station. Investigators from the Bethel Police Department released surveillance photos of a woman who robbed the donation box at Wheels gas station on Stony Hill Road at approximately 10:45 p.m. on July 11. Bethel Police Seek Big Y Theft Suspects BETHEL, Conn. -- Bethel Police are asking the public's assistance identifying two people suspected of stealing items at the Big Y grocery store earlier this month. The man and woman pictured in surveillance photos are believed to have stolen various items from the store on Stony Hill Road on Wednesday, Jan. 10. Police: Danbury Man Charged With Causing Disturbance At Bethel Motel BETHEL, Conn. — A Danbury man was arrested at a Bethel motel after officers responding to a report of a person in distress instead found a person causing a disturbance, police said.  Just after 7 a.m. Sunday, police received multiple reports that a man was yelling that he was going to kill someone as well as a woman yelling inside a room of the Best Western Hotel at 11 Stony Hill Road.  The yelling was followed by a loud thump, police said.
