New Principal Named To School In Greenwich Students at a school in Fairfield County will find a new principal roaming the halls this fall. Greenwich Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Toni Jones announced on Tuesday, May 9 the appointment of Marc Guarino as principal of Eastern Middle School, effective Saturday, July 1.  Guarino replaces Jason Goldstein who announced in January that he is stepping down at the end of the school year to return to teaching in the classroom.  The new principal will oversee all of EMS’ programs that meet the needs of its students with a strong focus on academic, persona…

Successful New England Financial Executive Dies At Age 61 A native New Yorker who lived in the Boston area and was a successful financial executive has died at the age of 61. Suzanne Marie Irwin, of Charlestown, Massachusetts, who grew up in Westchester County, died peacefully on Wednesday, Aug. 17, after 13-month illness with Glioblastoma, her obituary said. She grew up in Larchmont and graduated from Mamaroneck High School, according to her obituary.
