Four Fairfield County Residents Charged With DWI In NY Stops New York State Police troopers arrested 20 drivers in the area for allegedly driving while impaired. Local residents charged include:  Westchester County On Friday, Oct. 11, State Police from Somers arrested Joseph Salerno, 51, of Lewisboro, for DWI. He was traveling on Old Pond Road in the town of Lewisboro, when he was interviewed during a welfare check. Three Dead After Car Plows Into Home Near Northern Fairfield County Border Click here for an updated story: Details Emerge In Triple-Fatal Crash Three people died after their car plowed into a home in the Hudson Valley late Monday night, according to New York State Police. The Dutchess County crash occurred around 10:44 p.m. Monday at Route 82 and Bulls Head Road in Stanford, said Trooper AJ Hicks. The three who died were all in the car, Hicks said.
