Danbury Duo Caught With Cocaine In Southeast Stop, Sheriff Says
Two men from Danbury have been charged after police say they were caught with cocaine during a stop in Southeast.
Members of the Putnam Sheriff’s Department Narcotics Enforcement Unit (NEU) say they observed two males hunched over inside a vehicle in a parking lot on Danbury Road in the Town of Southeast shortly before midnight on Friday, July 12.
Further investigation revealed that the vehicle’s occupants, Casey Perillo, 33, of Danbury, and Daniel Sacrider, 31, of Danbury, were in possession of cocaine, according to the NEU.

New details have been released after a two-vehicle crash that closed I-84 for more than an hour sent two to the hospital for treatment.
The crash took place around 10:26 a.m. on Wednesday, July 17, in the town of Southeast, when a 2001 Isuzu Rodeo driven by Bubacarr Dukureh, 55, of the Bronx, was traveling westbound when he was either stopped or coming to a stop in the lane, and was hit in the rear by a 2019 Dodge Ram van, driven by Christopher J.
