State Attorney Joseph T. Corradino announced on Monday, July 24 that a jury in Bridgeport Superior Court on Thursday, July 20, found David Shavers, age 28, of Norwalk, guilty of manslaughter and other crimes. Man Shot Three Times At Intersection In Bridgeport, Police Say A man was shot multiple times overnight before being transported to an area hospital for treatment, police said. Officers from the Bridgeport Police Department received a report shortly after 1:45 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 1 of an assault involving a shooter near the intersection of Sixth Street and Stratford Avenue.
