There was gridlock, and one closure, on four of the area's major roadways as drivers hit the roadways on the eve of July 4th. A crash caused the closure of a stretch of the Saw Mill River Parkway near the border of Mount Kisco and Chappaqua. The crash, reported just before 5:30 p.m., occurred southbound between Route 133/Main Street and Roaring Brook Road. The roadway has reopened.
