Student Brings Suspicious Object To School In Fairfield County, Authorities Say A Fairfield County school was asked to shelter-in-place after a student brought a suspicious package to school. The incident took place early Tuesday, Dec. 7, at the Rogers International School on Blachley Road in Stamford. According to Sg. William Brevard, of the Stamford Police, a student brought a suspicious package to the school.  Out of an abundance of caution, Stamford Police were notified and students and staff were asked to “shelter-in-place” until SPD declared the school safe.  Police responded to the school with K-9 dogs and searched the package, which was deemed "noth…

Man Charged In Stamford School Disturbance A Stamford man has been arrested following an incident at a local school in which he was acting strangely, causing the school to go into lockdown, according to the Stamford Police. Davidson Sauver, 18, has been charged with breach of peace, interfering with a police officer and criminal trespassing for an event that took place on Feb. 5, said Stamford Police Sgt. Joseph Kennedy. Sauver was arrested after trespassing on the grounds of the Rogers International School, acting strangely and clutching something in his hand, police said.
