Man Charged For Fatal Shooting Outside Lounge In Fairfield County
A Fairfield County man has been charged with the murder of another man outside an area lounge.
Robert Sorrells, age 27, of Bridgeport, was arrested on Thursday, Oct. 21 for the murder of Jonathan DaSilva, according to Scott Appleby, director of Bridgeport Emergency Management.
Bridgeport Police Det. Robert Winkler obtained an arrest warrant for Sorrells, charging him with fatally shooting DaSilva earlier this month outside of the VIP Lounge on Pembroke Street, Appleby said.

ID Released For Man Gunned Down In Fairfield County
Police have released the identity of Fairfield County man gunned down while standing on a street.
Benjamin Bagley, age 22, of Bridgeport, was killed around 5:24 p.m., Wednesday, March 17, on Union Avenue in Bridgeport, said Scott Appleby, director of Emergency Management.
When Bridgeport officers arrived on the scene they located Bagley suffering from multiple gunshot wounds at 100 Blackstone St., Appleby said.
He later died at Bridgeport Hospital.

Suspect In Brutal Fairfield County Homicide Nabbed By US Marshals
United States Marshals have arrested a man in connection with a brutal homicide late last year in Fairfield County.
Jahleel Bailey, 22, was arrested early Monday, Jan. 11, on Staten Island, for the murder of Brandon Goode, of Bridgeport on Monday, Dec. 13, said the Bridgeport Police Lt. Christopher LaMaine.
Goode, 26, was found after police responded to an area near 242 Harral Ave., LaMaine said.

New Bridgeport Shooting Leaves One Dead, Three Wounded in 'Targeted' Attack
Three people have been shot and killed, and numerous others wounded in Bridgeport in less than a week as rival "groups" target each other, according to authorities.
The latest homicide took place around 7:55 p.m., Thursday, June 25, in front of 527 Huntington Road, said Scott Appleby, director of emergency communications and emergency management.
