Wanted Macy's Shoplifter Arrested After Struggle With Officers In Trumbull, Police Say Following a struggle with officers in the area, a shoplifting suspect has been taken into custody and faces numerous charges, according to police. Town of Trumbull Police officers responded to Macy’s at Trumbull Mall on a report of a shoplifter trying to steal $247 worth of clothing on Tuesday, July 30. Further investigation revealed that Macy’s security team had observed a man wearing an orange shirt enter the fitting room area while carrying an armful of clothing and a bag, police say.
