Man Found Asleep In Car With Engine Running Charged With DUI, Greenwich Police Say A 36-year-old man is facing DUI charges after Greenwich Police allegedly found him sleeping in his car on the wrong side of the road with the engine running just after midnight on Tuesday, Dec. 18. Police responded to reports of a vehicle on the wrong side of the road that was facing oncoming traffic. The vehicle was on and the ignition was running, according to police. The incident took place around 4:29 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 13, when Makeeba Mercedes Bell, 28, of Ardsley, walked into the Chase Bank on Greenwich Avenue and attempted to cash a fraudulent check, Greenwich Police said.
