The New Canaan Police Department said the thefts and suspicious incidents took place between Friday, Oct. 28, and Sunday, Oct. 30. Fairfield County Thieves Again Targeting Unlocked Vehicles, Police Say Despite the current health emergency and stay-at-home orders, crime has continued to strike on Fairfield County town, with thieves targeting unlocked cars overnight in residential neighborhoods.  Trumbull Police said that over the weekend on Saturday, April 4 and Sunday, April 5, the town has one vehicle stolen and eight were opened and property was stolen, said Trumbull Police Lt. Two SUVs Stolen From Driveway Of Darien Home Police are investigating after two SUVs were stolen from the driveway of a home in Darien. Darien Police received a report that a 2014 Subaru Forester and a 2012 Toyota Highlander were stolen from the driveway of a home on Archer Lane during the overnight hours of Thursday, Nov. 14. The Forester contained a set of golf clubs valued at $3,000, $20 in cash, sunglasses valued at $100, paddleball equipment valued at $300 and an EZ Pass transponder valued at $50, police say.
