Fairfield County Man Nabbed In Connection With Overdose Death, Police Say Following an investigation that lasted more than a year, a Fairfield County man has been arrested for allegedly selling drugs, and faces charges associated with an overdose death. Rodney Spann, age 26, of Bridgeport, was arrested by Stamford Police on Wednesday, Oct. 13, on charges of the sale of narcotics and conspiracy to sell narcotics.  The investigation into Spann began in September 2020 after a woman died from an overdose, said Capt. Detective Named Officer Of Month For Overdose Death Investigation In Greenwich A Greenwich Police detective has been named Officer of the Month for December for leading an investigation that undercovered the identification of a drug dealer who sold drugs to an overdose victim who later died. Greenwich Police Detective Frederick Quezada was assigned the case following the Saturday, July 25 overdose death, said Captain Mark E. Zuccerella.
