A 24-year-old has been accused of displaying a firearm and pointing it at fellow motorists in Connecticut.The incident happened Friday night, Aug. 23, in Windham County. Connecticut State Police Troop D in Danielson received multiple 911 calls reporting a red-colored sedan that was being operated aggressively. A police lieutenant in Connecticut has been charged with alleged following a crash. The incident took place in New Haven County on Sunday, Oct. 30 around 1:15 a.m., Sunday, Oct. 30 on Highland Avenue in Waterbury. Waterbury Police responded to the area of 840 Highland Avenue on a report of a motor vehicle accident. Officers located a pickup truck that had been traveling northbound on Highland Avenue when the driver veered off the roadway and sideswiped a parked unoccupied vehicle and fence, said Lt. A 21-year-old man was charged after authorities said he drove the wrong way on a highway in Connecticut and struck another vehicle. Troopers responded to a report of a wrong-way driver in the area of I-395 northbound in Lisbon at about 12:45 a.m. on Sunday, July 17, Connecticut State Police reported. Troopers found a Dodge Ram parked the wrong way near Exit 19 and determined that the Dodge had been involved in a crash on the highway in Griswold with a Toyota Tundra CrewMax before leaving the scene of the crash, authorities reported. Driver Extricated After Fairfield County Crash Charged With DUI
A driver who had to be extricated from his vehicle after rolling over was allegedly drunk when he crashed in Fairfield County, police said. Officers from the Darien Police Department responded to Park Place shortly before midnight on Friday, Dec. 17, where there was a report of a one-car crash involving a rolled-over vehicle. Upon arrival, officers said that they found one person - later identified as Stamford resident Joseph Lasko III, age 44 - trapped inside the vehicle, requiring the Noroton Fire Department to extricate him. Stamford Man Charged With DUI After Two-Vehicle Crash In Darien, Police Say
Police charged an intoxicated Stamford man with driving under the influence after he allegedly rear-ended another vehicle and forgot his home address. Richard Chapman, 55, was driving southbound on Hoyt Street in Darien at approximately 8:04 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 28 when he struck another vehicle from behind.
