Bomb Threats Received At 2 CT Businesses Within Hour Of Each Other Bomb threats were received at two Connecticut businesses within an hour of each other. The incidents occurred in New Haven County on Monday, July 29, between 3:45 and 5 p.m. at Walmart and Stop & Shop in Naugatuck. According to Det. Shelby Johnson of the Naugatuck Police officers responded to the New Haven Road Walmart around 3:45 p.m. for a bomb threat received by phone by an employee. The caller said a bomb was located in the bathroom and was set to go off in two minutes. Police quickly evacuated the store and requested assistance from the State Police Bomb Squad, Johnson said. …

Trio Nabbed After Police Officer Hit By Car In CT Walmart Shoplifting Incident A call to police for a shoplifting incident ended with an officer being hit and seriously injured and three people behind bars. The incident began around 4 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 4, when Naugatuck Police were dispatched to Walmart at 1100 New Haven Road to investigate the incident.  A Naugatuck Police officer arrived on the scene and interrupted a suspect attempting to enter a waiting vehicle, said police. Three Charged For Prostitution Ring After Police Raid At CT Massage Parlor Three women are in police custody for allegedly running a prostitution operation out of a Connecticut massage parlor. Naugatuck Police detectives searched Maple Massage on New Haven Road on Wednesday, 23, following an investigation into reports that patrons were paying for more than massages at the business. Police said that the investigation determined that employees would accept cash in exchange for sexual acts. According to Connecticut Rep.
