Update, 3:30 p.m. Residual delays remain across all Metro-North lines after the 138th Street Bridge was opened to let a ship pass through. Metro-North Adds Extra Trains For Women's March In NYC Saturday
Metro-North will provide additional trains on the Hudson and New Haven lines on Saturday, Jan. 20 to accommodate people traveling to and from the Women's March being held in New York City. The march, which is being held on the one-year anniversary of the inauguration of President Donald Trump, is scheduled to begin with a pre-march rally at 11:30 a.m., followed by the march at 12:30 p.m. Four additional trains will be added to the morning inbound service to New York City on Saturday. FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. — Metro-North trains will run on a reduced weekday schedule on Friday, Jan. 5, due to the impact of a strong nor'easter and extremely low temperatures. FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. — A 1 percent fare hike went into effect for all passengers on the New Haven Line in Connecticut on New Year's Day, Metro-North reminds train riders.
