Pedestrian Suffers Serious Injuries After Being Struck By DUI Driver In Store Parking Lot An area man was arrested after allegedly hitting a pedestrian while driving drunk causing serious injuries. Police learned of the incident around 4 p.m., Wednesday, March 20 after the Naugatuck Police Department received numerous calls reporting a vehicle versus pedestrian collision in the parking lot of the Meineke Car Care Center, located at 144 Rubber Avenue, police said.
