Walgreens To Close 2 More CT Pharmacies, Raising Number To 5 Across State Walgreens has announced it will close two more stores next month as the pharmacy giant continues reducing its footprint across the country. The pharmacy chain announced this week it would shut the 311 E. Main St. Middletown store and 1083 Boston Post Road in Milford on April 23, according to its website.  Walgreens previously announced closures in Waterbury, Hartford, and New Haven slated for next month. Prescriptions from the closing stores will be transferred to nearby Walgreens locations, and customers will receive notifications by mail. The retailer plans to close …

CT State Police Investigating Multiple Armed Robberies Connecticut State Police are asking for help in cracking four burglaries carried out by the same man.  Troop F in Westbrook, along with Middletown Police, are currently investigating the four separate armed robberies at area gas stations that have occurred in the early morning hours between Aug. 21 and Wednesday, said state police.
