Officers from the Milford Police Department were called to the area of Roses Mill Road and Boston Post Road shortly before 6 a.m. on Sunday, March 10, when there was a report of stolen metal from a local business. The investigation into the stolen metal led police to Milford resident Louis Piccirillo, 60, who was caught with an estimated $6,800 worth of metal that had been stolen in the area without permission.
