Five Rescued After Jet Ski, Kayak Overturn At Seaside Park Five people were rescued by police after a Jet Ski capsized and three people in a canoe attempted to rescue them became stranded. The incident took place around 5:45 p.m., Sunday,  Sept. 22, at Seaside Park in Bridgeport, said Terron Jones, spokesman for the Bridgeport Police Department. Jones said a Jet Ski with two passengers capsized and a canoe of three attempted to rescue the two passengers and ended up capsizing, stranding all five in the water.
