Accused Juvenile Thieves Caught After Boy Robbed Of $200 Saved To Buy Phone In Bridgeport
Two Bridgeport juveniles have been charged with robbery after allegedly stealing $200 from a boy attempting to buy an iPhone on Snapchat. The two juveniles were arrested in Bridgeport on Wednesday, March 22, for the incident which took place on Feb. 23, said Capt. Kevin Gilleran of the Bridgeport Police. The juvenile victim contacted the suspects via Snapchat regarding the posted sale of an Apple iPhone. ID Released For Victim Of Apparent Targeted Shooting In Bridgeport
A man who was shot and killed on Tuesday night in Bridgeport in an apparently targeted shooting has been identified. The victim was 30-year-old Edwin "Jeremy" Mangual, 30 of Victory Street in Bridgeport. Detectives continue to work to establish a motive. The city's ninth homicide of the year took place around 7:30 p.m. in front of 73/75 Laurel Ave., said Av Harris, spokesman for the Bridgeport Police Department. Apparent Targeted Shooting Marks Bridgeport's Ninth Homicide Of Year
A man who was shot and killed on Tuesday in Bridgeport was apparently targeted, police said. The city's ninth homicide of the year took place around 7:30 p.m. in front of 73/75 Laurel Ave., said Av Harris, spokesman for the Bridgeport Police Department. According to police, an unidentified 30-year-old man was found unresponsive at the scene, shot in the torso and neck. He was transported to St. Vincent's Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
