Stopped Vehicle In Darien Roadway Leads To DUI Charge For Stamford Man, Police Say A Stamford man is facing DUI charges after police say his vehicle was stopped on the roadway in Darien. Darien Police say they observed a dark-colored sedan stationary on Hecker Avenue at the intersection of Post Road on Saturday, May 4 around 12:30 a.m. Police say the vehicle’s signal was on flash and that it was not moving despite the lack of traffic.
